MEASURING YOUR WINDOW

To enable you to order a Restoration Kit for your sash window
you need to take some simple measurements.

Staff Bead– When correctly fitted, the rounded section at

the front of theStaff Bead should be flush with or slightly

proud of theInner Jamb. Therefore, it is important that

you order the correct size of Staff bead.

How to measure staff bead to ensure you get the correct size.

The measurement you require for the Staff Bead size is

taken from the inside face nearest the sash to the rounded

sectionat the front.

Sash Height – The height of the sash window is measured from the underside of the Head of the box frame to the top of the Cill..

Sash Width– The width of the sash window is measured from Pulley Stile to Pulley Stile, not between the staff beads..
